In an attempt to articulate the visceral potency of Christopher Rimmer’s photography, the author, Tony Park said Rimmer’s work looked so deeply into Africa’s heart that you could almost feel the heat and taste the dust.
Afritorial Magazine found Rimmer’s work, ‘…touching in its purity as it is varied in its subject matter. Photographer and subject contemplate each other across a vast and unforgiving landscape, yet there exists affection and a familiarity in Rimmer’s photography of the landscape and the people and animals living in this seldom visited corner of Africa which is instantly identifiable.’ (June 2013)
